CEAO is affiliated with the national College English Association (CEA), with the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), and with OCTELA.
Spring conference: Normally held in April, at a location in Columbus or elsewhere in central Ohio, the Spring conference offers its members a keynote address and breakout sessions, on a topic of interest to teachers of composition, literature, and creative writing. A different topic is selected each year. The Spring conference offers presenting opportunities for adjunct and junior faculty and graduate students, as well as for veteran faculty members.
