CEAO invites proposals that
address the
following themes:
- New takes on teaching best-loved
novels
(English, American, Post-Colonial, etc.).
- Novel methods of creating
stylistically
literate critical thinkers, readers, and writers. (Ohio is already
working on a
state-wide initiative to increase access to higher education to its
citizens;
it would be good to ensure a love of literature and writing amongst
college
graduates as well.)
- Administrative
issues such as Ohio’s seniors-to-sophomores program,
professional- ization roundtables, reallocation of state funds, new
state-led
initiatives, etc.
